I Wish They All Could Be California

Waiting For Prince Charming in NYC writes:

Dear French Kicks,
I'm a single, and rather cute, female in the music
business in Manhattan and I'm having trouble finding
Mr. Right. Granted, I get a lot of attention due to my
laidback, California personality and my cuteness, but
musicians, no offense, tend to be immature and
sexually focused. Should I continue in this seemingly
fruitless search or am I just lookin' for love in all
the wrong places?
Thanks for your help,
Waiting for Prince Charming

Lawrence:Why are you asking us?

Like me musicians are surprisingly simple, and like little boys they tend to have their minds in the gutter. If you're really as laid back as you seem you can change him. Which reminds me of the old saying, "What does a stripper do with her asshole before she goes to work?"

Matt: That "laidback", "cute" thing may go a long way in "California," but New York boys "haight" that garbage.

Nick (via Telephone): Yes, you are looking for love in the wrong place. You yourself have named the reasons. If you have noticed things that consistently bother you about musicians, don't try to date one. It's pretty fucking straight forward, isn't it?
